Functions of the Flying Cinema
Apr 02, 2025
The Flying Cinema is an entertainment facility that combines high technology and immersive experience. Its main functions include providing a full range of visual, auditory and dynamic experiences, making visitors feel as if they are in a movie scene.
Specific functions
Immersive viewing experience: The Flying Cinema uses a large cantilevered dome screen. The audience sits on a suspended seat and faces the huge dome screen. They can enjoy a 360-degree viewing angle without wearing glasses. The content of the film is mostly a first-person "flying" theme, such as crossing mountains, chasing alien fleets, etc., combined with dynamic blur technology and ultra-wide-angle images, bringing a strong visual impact and immersion.
Dynamic seats and special effects: The seats are equipped with a multi-degree-of-freedom motion platform, which can simulate flight postures such as ascent, dive, and circling, and provide a realistic dynamic experience in conjunction with the actions in the film. In addition, there are special effects such as wind spray and fragrance to further enhance the sense of immersion.
Panorama sound: Using Dolby Atmos or DTS technology, the sound comes from all directions and is synchronized with the picture movement, creating an immersive feeling. For example, when a fighter jet roars overhead, the sound will move dynamically with the picture.
Multi-sensory synergy: The flying theater not only provides visual and dynamic experience, but also simulates rain, fog, strong wind, fragrance, etc. through environmental special effects devices, which are precisely synchronized with the picture movement, bringing a full range of sensory experience.
