The working principle of flight simulator mainly includes the following aspects:
Simulated cockpit: The simulated cockpit is the core of the whole system, which highly restores the cockpit environment of the real aircraft. The control devices, instruments and signal display devices are consistent with the real aircraft. When the pilot operates in the simulated cockpit, he will feel the real flight environment. The advanced visual system can realize computer-generated cockpit exterior scenes and present them to pilots through projection and display devices, providing a realistic training environment.
Computer system and instructor console: The computer system is responsible for real-time solving and controlling the mathematical models of the simulator systems. Multiple computers work together through the network to process specific information and maintain information exchange. The instructor console is used to monitor and control the operating status of the simulator, which is convenient for instructors to conduct training guidance and evaluation.
Physical instrument ecology: The simulator has a variety of aviation instrument templates built in, and each knob and switch is equipped with a tactile motor to simulate various operating feelings in real flight. For example, the sticky feeling of the instrument when it is frozen.
