Our MFL detector works by saturating the pipe wall to create a closed magnetic circuit. When corrosion, cracks or metal loss defects appear on the pipe wall, magnetic field lines distort and form a leakage magnetic field. The high-precision Hall sensor array captures these signals, and the built-in data processing system completes quantitative defect analysis efficiently. Unlike other inspection tools, this MFL inspection technology has low requirements for pipeline cleanliness, making it perfectly suitable for in-line inspection of operating oil and gas pipelines.

The core hardware configuration ensures stable performance even in harsh working conditions. The magnetization mechanism uses permanent magnets or electromagnetic coils to achieve a magnetic flux density of 1.8T or higher, which fully saturates the pipe wall. The 18-group Hall probe array features a circumferential spacing of no more than 8mm and an axial sampling interval of 2mm, which greatly improves detection accuracy. Equipped with advanced anti-lift-off technology, the sensor keeps a distance of no more than 2mm from the pipe wall, and the signal attenuation rate is controlled below 25% per millimeter. For driving and safety, our detector adopts 0.45MPa high-pressure medium propulsion to replace the easily damaged top rod structure, and is fitted with a dual redundant braking system and real-time health monitoring module to reduce inspection risks during long-distance runs.
